This company is a joke at best, they came late charged me 40% more than estimated and damaged everything in my shipment. Customer service does not exists and forget having your claim processed.

Hire some hobos off the street and you will have a better move!

I don't want to go to deep in to this company out of fear but I wanted to warn others so they do not make the same mistake I did.

They sent these crazy foreigners to my home and I can only describe it as scary I truly feared for my life.

I made this short so they do not know who I am but stay away from these people.

These guys over promise and under deliver! They claim they are a company of integrity, but I can tell you that is not true. They are a broker, don't own their own trucks, and don't have their own employees. They have no control and you have no recourse. I moved from Colorado to Michigan and the mover was flown in to Denver, arrived at my house 4 hours away without a truck, laborers, or a plan. I had to call friends (and pay them), later to be deducted from my bill, and arrange to have my entire house moved into my garage because of their inability to plan a move. 2 days later they arrived with a truck and labor they found on the street corner, and loaded my belongings. Once they arrived in MI I had to once again unload my own truck with help that I had to obtain. None of my belongings were reassembled (per the contract) 2 items were missing and 3 items were broken. No compensation was given. Most of my belongings arrived in MI, but they intentionally left my hot tub, vacuum, fan, garden hoses, and garden tools at my house in CO claiming they'd go back and get it. These items were all on the inventory prior to the move, so they knew about the hot tub. They never returned a call, never promised a date, just said "we're working on it". 3 weeks later I reported them to the Better Business Bureau which ticked them off. They told me that I have to call the 'mover' (their subcontractor) to resolve the issue. I have to hire another company to bring the rest of my belongings, to the tune of an additional $2,000.00. My advice is to hire a company who is a member of the AMSA and who is NOT a broker. Visit www.moving.org to get all the details to protect yourself. I hope this helps someone NOT get screwed.

Worst experience ever! Don't use this moving company. The company is a scam. We hired American Moving Service because we read the review on this web site. We are suppose to get 24 to 48 hour notice about the pick up time frame, we didn't get the notice until we called to ask. The mover is suppose to come around 10~12am on the moving date, by the time the mover called to say they'll come 4~5pm. The mover didn't show up around 5pm, when we called we found out that the mover screwed up and went to the DESTINATION address. The company offered to come the following day. The mover is suppose to come around 1pm, as you guessed, they called to say they'll come around 2~3pm. 3pm came and gone, still no mover or phone call. As I'm writing the review, we still don't know when the mover is coming and don't know what we should do next....
