I wont go through every detail because frankly my head is still spinning from all this but the bottom line is the communication was very poor. The movers arrived late for delivery and damaged some items that now they want to pay 60 cents per pound for and at that rate its not even worth the hassle. I would not use this company again.

US 1 Van Lines is terrible! Poor communication, late arrival, threw around my FRAGILE boxes and BROKE EVERYTHING. Did not wrap furniture and mattresses were very dirty upon arrival, disassembled furniture while in storage and permanently damaged it, poor customer service, did not respond to claim. NEVER AGAIN. Please beware.

At first i was very pleased with US1 vanlines. The salesperson schedueld a pick up date the very next day, and assured me that the furniture (in state) would be delivered the next week. Pick was great, packing great. The person (Lisa) incharge of dispatch was unreasonable and after two weeks could not give me straight answers on the deliverly. It was finally delivered two weeks after i was told from the salesperson and didn't arrive at my daughters till 9:00pm in the dark and then the China Cabinet was not with the rest. I'm being told that it will be another week (Christmas) before she can get this. I will never use this company again or recomend it to anyone. The person in charge of this area will not give me a number or name to call and speak to whoever is over this company. The customer service is the worst i've ever dealt with.

US-1 VanLines is absolutely Terrible!
Sure, they picked up our belongings. They picked up on a Friday, told my husband the stuff would be delivered on a Monday (Mind you we're moving from Atlanta to Miami, FL).. They did not show up and did not call. I have been calling them over a week trying to get a delivery date and I keep getting the voicemail of someone named Lisa.. More than a week later, Lisa finally picks up the phone and tells me she will have to call me back but she won't have a delivery date, it will be a window date.. What the F*!*? I am too done!! This company sucks!!! Steer clear! I have no idea when my stuff will be delivered. This company needs to be shut down!

crew came on time, packed all my huose and reassemble all back the way I wanted. fast, patient with a smile!

Since I've had a bad experience with movers in the past I went this time only with A mover. I found them on the BBB A rated. My company relocated me last minute to Athens, GA. US-1 was there on time from start to finish, they packed the whole apartment and delivered after 3 days last it was promised - all very smoothly.

This is a horrible moving company. They showed up to pick up my stuff from the house 2.5 hrs late. They then tried to charge me almost $200 more than the price I was given on the phone for packing my furniture, when it said in the contract that that was included in the price. The mover was extremely rude and not helpful at all. I had talked to the sales lady on the phone and was promised there would be no additional costs as long as I stayed within the allotted space, which I did.

The company then gave me a very difficult time over when they would be able to deliver my stuff. I had told them the day I needed it but they threatened to not deliver my things if I could not find someone to be at my new apartment 2000 miles away 2 days earlier than I was supposed to be there, JUST IN CASE they arrived early. Otherwise they would charge me $300/day if they got there and no one was there. Once the truck finally arrived at 9:30pm, the movers gave me 2 of the wrong boxes and only realized it when I told them they were not mine. My TV had a huge crack in it and they broke the post off of my headboard. They also put a dent in my nightstand. The final item they brought in was my mattress, however, it was not my mattress. It was someone elses stained mattress in a different size than the one I had put on the truck from my house. They lost my new, $600 mattress and they refused to take the wrong mattress away. Finally, we forced them to put it back on the truck. I have STILL not heard anything from the company after calling multiple times as to where my mattress is.

NEVER EVER do business with this company!
