I am completely disappointed at the level of service provided by Americarrier. After reading glorifying reviews. I chose Americarrier as my movers. I spoke to a rep about my inventory and was given a very reasonable quote. I even asked the rep why his quote was that much cheaper than other companies I had spoken to. He said that my route was a favored destination of the van lines, so I would be given a discount. I booked the company. On the day of the move, the movers showed up. They were courteous and efficient. When it came time to pay for the deposit, they priced my move 150% over what was quoted plus $350 in packaging materials! I was irate, but paid the deposit since my entire home was already packed up and in the truck. What was I supposed to do? Have them unload it all after having spent 6 hours loading? In the week that followed, I continually called the office numerous times to speak to someone about the overcharge and it was impossible to get someone on the line. Either no one picked up or they reps for extremely rude letting us know there was nothing they could do. Whoever we spoke to could not help us and supposedly the manager or owner was never available. We called for 8 days straight trying to settle our bill. When the shipment finally arrived, we called again and had no answer. They the driver called and "miraculously" got a hold of someone right away. They refused to work with us and threatened to hold our items if we did not pay the balance. We had no choice but to pay. EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED. I pray that you have a better experience or have the smarts to go with another company.
This is the first low ratings I see, must be an enemy site of the business. Anyone has a "hater".
After seeing, and reading few of their reviews on major sites, I gave this company a call. Within half an hour I was quoted over the phone for a four bedroom house @ 9500 lbs and I was told that if I will have less weight I will pay less. On the day of the move after my shipment was picked up I received a phone call from Mel (my representative) saying that my shipment was weighed at 8975 lbs and that my final bill would be less than the quote. After 8 days, as I was told it would take, I received the shipment and there was not a single thing that was broken. The final bill was just as Mel told me it would be. Its good to know that there are still honest companies out there. I recommend them. They are the most professional company I have used until now.
We had several problems using this company. They delayed 6 days longer on delivery, didn't answer the phone calls during the period of december 24 to january 2nd. I wasn't able to receive my items before new year. I was told the shipment would arrive after christmas. They were nice and all that, but I'm not sure if I'm gonna use them again.
This company defines a "moving nightmare." I have never written an online review but feel compelled to do so to spare you from the enormous headache you will go through if you use this company. In brief, here was my experience:
We spoke with a sales rep, Sam, who promised us the world and scoffed at the bad reviews of this company that we had seen. They were by far the cheapest offer and everything we asked for was accommodated... when booking. We never heard from Sam again despite many efforts to reach her.
We were told we would get a call the day before the delivery to confirm our inventory and delivery time, etc. We never received the call but called to confirm ourselves. We were told no one was available to talk with us and promised a call back which we never received.
When no one showed up or called the next day during our delivery window, I called again...and again...and again. I kept being promised a call from the dispatcher but never received one. Eventually, they stopped answering the phone. At long last, hours later at 9:00 PM I received a call from Phillip, the dispatch manager. He says point blank that they are not able to complete the move, referencing something that happened with their truck days earlier. I was baffled as to why they never contacted me to tell me this days earlier so I could make alternate arrangements. He claimed he tried to call but admitted that he did not leave a voicemail, did not try multiple times to reach me, and did not email us despite having our email address. Pathetically, he said "he thought about emailing me but was busy...!"
Phillip refused to help me make alternate arrangements and refused to help pay for alternate arrangements. He even admitted that they don't care about their reputation, as they are not a large company, that all moving companies have bad reviews so there is "nothing I can do", and said that they are aren't going to do anything for me. He claimed to be the most senior-level person I could speak with and the owner, Ofer Saballego (sp?), was abroad.
I was stuck canceling my flight for the next day, rescheduling a job interview, and begging my landlord to let me stay another day to figure this debacle out on my own, with no help from AmeriCarrier despite the fact that this was their doing.
I called AmeriCarrier Van Lines after I did a google search for local movers. From my initial conversation with the office staff to the completion of my move, everyone I dealt with was very professional, courteous and totally put me at ease during my move.
My biggest concern during this process was my grand piano. My previous movers STRUGGLED to say the least, but these men assessed the situation, discussed it and moved it without a hitch. This company is comprised of true professionals and I HIGHLY reccommend them.
I did not receive all my goods. I have tried continually to contact the agent , ADRIAN, and the company to locate my car cover and box #109.
Box #109 contained family pictures and heirlooms. No reply from Americarrier I am very disapointed with their service.
Please research carriers before hiring Americarrier
This company does RIP you off and don't hesitate to that some of your high value items are getting lost. If you haven't paid for extra insurance than you get 8 dollars for a 1,200 dollar PC or home theater system. In case you are in the middle of dealing with them and they try to extort money out of you I advice you to a) call the police immediately b) don't sign any paperwork and look for your high valuable items If you are a victim than a) contact a law firm and file for a claim for extortion and harassment. Or get in touch with us. We set up an organization that had been victims of this company, where Max, Adrian Morri, and Philip (likely the owner) work in conjunction to have you pay extra despite a not too exceed estimate that was provided after a visual inspection. Contact us at ammericarriervictim@gmail.com with your story. You intention is to bring a personal law suit against those people. We are in contact with the Attorney General, where you can file a complaint as well and the Better Business Bureau. Unfortunately they act fast and will close shop to open under another name within a couple of month continuing their effort.
I never thought moving would be such an expensive procedure. I paid $1900 for a 3 bedroom amenities relocation. The rest of the service is as perfect as they represent themselves. Best of all I don't have to move for a while again. But I wish the price will be lower in the future.
We just finished a move with americarrier and they did a very good job. The price was great and we had no damages to speak of. I would use them again at any time and will be sure to tell my friends about the service.

From my own personal experience, I will tell all readers to avoid Americarrier like the plege. They are nothing short of a rip off company. Without going through great lengths of telling you my own experience. Here is what happen. The pickup driver, picks up two Mexican's in front of Lowes and shows up late at my home. He has me do paper work, then gets started putting my things on the truck. I noticed one of the Mexican's taping up my file cabinet (yes tape on medal, instead of wrapping the cabinet with a blanket) that is a clue he wasn't an experience mover. After loading the truck, the driver tells me I underestimated my things. I complained to his manager, anyway, they took my stuff and told me they would have it delivered in 3 to 4 days, leaving me a bill of lading. It took them eleven days, four days in storage in the San Fernando Valley, and four days in Jackson, Mississippi. When I kept calling where's my stuff, and they given me the "I don't know answer," I knew something was rotten going on. On the eleventh day, Jack was his name shows up by himself. First thing he does is ask for the money due up front and cash only. (My attorney later told me the next time any movers do that to you again, call the police right then and there, because they are holding your things as hostage and that is against the law). Anyway, after unloading all my things from the truck, I notice several things missing. Jack writes the missing things down, then takes off like a bat out of hell, without even giving me a receipt for the cash I did give him. I can't prove it, but have a funny feeling my stuff is sitting in his or his girl friends Jackson, Mississippi home. It doesn't take four days to go from Jackson, Mississippi to Huntsville, Alabama, a drive on a good day will take you a good 5 to 6 hours. How can anybody loose a large black orthopaedic massage chair that weighs a 1/2 ton???? My advice to all you readers. DO NOT USE AMERICARRIER VAN LINES. (PERIOD). They claim their corporate headquarters is located in Moreno Valley, California. The Postal Service shows they moved left no address. They then tell the California Secretary of State they are located in San Diego, California. The Postal Service returned my certified letter stating Attempted Unknown. Their physical address is on 14545 Friar St., in Van Nuys, California 91401. They claim they have been in this business since 1998, the Secretary of State shows them to have been in business since 2007. So who are they kidding.
This company hooks you with low quotes, then makes their money by charging exorbitant fees for packing materials which they force you to use. The quote includes blanket wrapping of furniture, but the movers insisted on using cardboard and tape to crate my coffee table and HD LCD TV so they could over charge for these materials. For example, I was quoted $296 to move a 1 BR apartment and they ended up charging me $1096 when it was all said and done, to move a 1BR apartment to less than 4 miles away.
It gets better. They damaged the hardwood floors in my new place by sliding a metal footed sofa across it. They refused to deduct the $100 deposit I had already paid from the bill at the end. They also tried to charge me $88 per hour, after they quoted me $74.
Stay away from this company. I find their practices to be dishonest and unprofessional. Calls to complain about the damages incurred to my property were referred to a third party on the East coast, and they refused to deduct anything from the total.
this was a nightmare company. adrian, the salesman was very nice and professional...then the movers showed up , looked like they had hired them off the corner, a budget rent a truck that would not hold all my furniture. they packed my stuff very poorly and went so fast i couldn't even tell what they were doing. at one point i said to the superviser(who sat in his car smoking) maybe they would like a drink and he said "when they are finished they can have a drink" they were there for 7 hours. THEN, when they finally arrived in washiongton, a lot of things were broken and a flat screen t.v. was missing. th e guys that delivered the stuff appeared to be embarrassed and the supervisor asked me why i had hired their company!!!!it was beyond a bad experience and they charged me for all kinds of "extras" and made me pay them before unloading the truck, which i'm sure is illegal. DON"T EVER USE THIS COMPANY
