I recently used this company to move my belongings from Tampa, FL to New York, NY and I must say they are the BEST!!! First, they gave me a biding price based on my inventory list. On the day of the move the price did not change, they only charged me an additional fee for packing my TV and glass top table which I knew would be extra. They did an amazing job. The movers were curteous and friendly and most important - they were very professional. They knew what they were doing. My belongings arrived to New York a few days later. Everything was in great condition, there were no damages. I must say I have used other moving companies before and this is by far the best one. I would recommend them to anyone that is looking for a reliable moving company. Although they aren't the cheapest company, they are definitely worth the money!

My move from start to finish went great! The movers worked very hard and did not cause any damages to my furniture! I am very satisfied working with Victor Gaskins both times! Thanks again!

I scheduled a move with Ocean Moving and Storage to be moved from Florida to Texas. My moving date was 02/01/2011. The representative that I dealt with was extremely helpful and gave me a binding quote over the phone according to an inventory list I gave him.Their quote was not the cheapest one but I felt that I can trust this company. At first, I was worried because I had bad experience with moving companies before, but eventually I decided to go with them. I can now say that I would recommend this company to everyone that is looking for an honest, legit company that takes care of the customer from beginning to end. The quote didn't change and my belongings arrived in Texas on time and in excellent condition. The drivers were courteous and the customer service in the office was very helpful.

I recently hired Ocean Moving for my long distance move to Texas.After recieving about 10 calls I felt comfortable with my agent, their reviews were very good and best of all the price was in my budget. I paid for a full 26ft truck exclusive use for my 3 bedroom house. I was given a fixed rate that DID NOT change, quick delivery with only dresser scratched and over all I would segguest this company to any family trying to look for a reputabe mover in these tough times. My sales agent was Victor Gaskins and he was amazing! Again THANK YOU VICTOR -Mike & Barbara Sterling

I was very happy and pleased with Ocean Moving & Storage. I also want to say thank you to Victor and sal for all their help with my move over to Los Angeles. I was very skeptical at first with someone of the reviews I read but like Victor told me If I broke the contract and brought more furniture or needed packing on my glass items I would pay more. I called him 3 days before my move and updated my list and boxes and the day of the move they were on time and I didn't pay one penny more!! Thanks again Victor and I recommended this company to anyone moving out of Florida or any where through the US. Thanks- Natalia

We actually hired this company for a move from Florida to California. We were given a binding, not to exceed price & quot; in writing. When Ocean arrived to pick up our items, Joe insisted on charging us more, even before he inventoried our items. We disputed the charge, let them move us (as one of us had flown out from California to facilitate the move) and then tried to try to work it out after the items were delivered, as we were afraid our items would be missing if we complained before delivery.
We were treated rudely by Itai who was determined to be right and to make us wrong and who interrupted me constantly on the telephone. The matter is now in the hands of our credit card company in dispute resolution.
Don't believe a word these guys say to you.
Oh, by the way, many of the items arrived in pieces, even though they were carefully boxed and bubble-wrapped. They must throw these boxes around and let them hit the floor of the truck. I have moved these items coast to coast before without breakage.
P.S. When Itai apparently read this post, he sent me an email stating, Now I am offended that I would suggest that his guys aren't careful with customers' property. He didn't find the intimidating tactics of Joe toward my fiancee, who was home alone, offensive in the least.

Ocean and Moving Storage had a job of moving our furniture. A date was set and a time frame of 2-4p was given. I was waiting during that time period when I get a call stating that they are running twenty minutes late. Twenty minutes past and they did not show up. The company then calls and says that it would be until 6p until they show up. How does twenty minutes turn into two hours late?



So I left and was not going to waste my whole afternoon. Ocean Moving & Storage then calls me up begging me to be there due to them not wanting to lose the account. They then reassured my that I would be compensated for my trouble and time. I decided to leave a key and they had a list of the items trusting them.



I got home that night and found that they left trash all over my house, helped themselves the refrig without permission, took the dinning room top but not the legs of the table, and wanted to charge thousands more for a couple extra items that where not on the list.



I called them up the other day to follow up on my compensation for my troubles and the customer reps. knew nothing about the situation and I still have not received my compensation for my troubles.
